Especially along the Portuguese cost you can find a million different shades of beige. My Sandstone Beige is inspired by those walks I do every week (you should too btw). I wanted a neutral tone that feels warm and grounded. It blends effortlessly into any space, supports other materials like wood and linen, and creates a calm, timeless atmosphere. This unique color has strong properties yet will never ask for attention. The material choice was obvious. I wanted something nice and soft, yet healthy for my body. Pure linen is unbeatable for sleep. When it’s not chemically treated, it breathes naturally, absorbs moisture, and stays fresh without bacteria growth. Linen is a plant-based fiber with unique properties, and once I started diving deeper into it, it made perfect sense why it was once reserved for the upper class. It gets softer with every wash and, if cared for properly, will last for decades.

Material
Pure, soft linen is unbeatable when it comes to its features. If it's not chemically-treated, which most cheap-linen is, it let's you breath, it absorbs your sweat, and it does all of this while staying almost 100% free of bacteria. In fact, pure linen is a soft material and offers those very unique health features. There is no better material for bedding out there. When I started to read about it, it didn't surprise me that pure linen used to be the bedding material for the upper class (our kings and queens). So if you want to enjoy a nice, calm sleep without much noise, that's your material to go with. Did I mention that it will last forever if you take good care of it?!

Craft
Our linen is produced in small batches at Europe's top ateliers. We give a guarantee of at least 4 years* on the fabric as well as our seams.

*The guarantee does not include the color as we have no influence on how often the fabric will be exposed to sunlight. A high exposure of sunlight causes the original color to bleach out slightly over time.

Care
A truly special bedding made for real life. Wash at 40 °C for everyday freshness (up to 60 °C only when needed). Tumble dry on low or let it breathe in fresh air. No ironing required - the natural crinkle is part of its character. Pure linen softens with every wash instead of wearing out.

While most bedding needs replacing after a few years, well-cared for linen lasts a lifetime. The more you use it, the better it becomes - a genuine investment in extraordinary sleep.

Due to our Made-to-Order concept, we produce all of our orders purely on demand (unless otherwise stated).

Shipment within EU: 1-2 days

Returns
Do to our Made-to-Order concept, we do not accept returns as the products are made for you. Please do not order with us if you are not sure about the color. For color references please follow my instagram or get in touch before you order.

Of course, if there is a product-material fault or the item arrives damaged, please reach out to team@kanela.one within 7 days after receiving the item and we will figure out a replacement/repair solution.
