The Art of Living Well
The Art of Living well is my guiding principle - a slower, more intentional way of creating and choosing the objects that shape our everyday lives.
I’m not interested in mass production or trend cycles. I’m interested in atmosphere. Warmth. Craft. Pieces that bring a quiet confidence into a room and stay with you for years. Everything on Kanela is produced in collaboration with artisans I deeply admire - people who work with their hands, their intuition, and an honesty that can’t be rushed.
Each drop is small and considered, created with respect for materials, makers, and the world we live in. The goal isn’t to own more, but to live better - with fewer things, made well, chosen with intention. This is the essence of Kanela.
I'm Rapha.
I'm not interested in mass production. Each drop is intentionally limited. Not because of scarcity for its own sake, but because overproduction is what brought the world to its breaking point. I hate discounted sales events and I find it boring if everyone owns the same. My mission is to scale with creativity, not with waste and fake hype.
I see my drops as an invitation: to partner with likeminded, to respect resources, to live in harmony with nature, and to choose pieces that stay with you — because the future of our planet isn't about consuming more, it's about consuming with meaning.

Pre-order Production. Zero Waste.
I don't believe in overproduction — beauty loses its value when it becomes excess. Each Kanela piece is made to order, crafted with intention and patience. We produce in or near Europe, depending on the product, working only with partners who share our obsession for quality. Every item is created within a reasonable timeframe — always respectful of process and people. Pre-order means respect: for materials, for the makers, and for the world we live in.
